Vietnamese Chinese restaurant that was great for a get together. You know the place, same decor for the last 20 years, fish tank in the corner, and the infamous giant lazy Susan in the middle of every table. We ordered a lot of food. The best of the bunch were their signature lobster with garlic noodles, Chinese brocoli in oyster sauce, and sup mang cua (asparagus crab soup). The medium lobster was huge, easily fed 4 people with leftovers. Ask for the price before so you're not sticker shock. The medium was a little over $200. If you order this, you'll honestly just need one other dish to share. Service was surprisingly friendly, they were all dads. We ended our meal with fresh orange slices which were nice and sweet. Parking was very tight and there were yelling homeless around. But worth a visit as the lobster was great.
They put out tables and tablecloths when we asked for dog friendly sitting. Very accommodating and very quick responses. We got their in season veggies, salt and pepper tofu and ofc their main dish the lobster noodles! Everything was really good. The servers were curious about the dogs but they were just sitting under the table so they just looked at the dogs and smiled at them. The restaurant was packed by the time we finished ordering and the outdoor space filled out as well. This not our first time here but we were happy to share this with our friends! Even though we were here 3-4 years ago, quality is still great!
We had a family meal, plus ordered more dishes on top of it. From clams, to lobster noodles, salted shrimp, ong choy, beef lac loc, fried rice, Kung pao chicken, chow fun and so much more. Everything was good, but some dishes could've used a little more flavoring! The interior makes this place look like a hole in the wall type of spot. Interior definitely needs some updating in terms of appearance and design. The service was good and attentive. I swear they refilled our cups 8x or more.
Decided to go here to enjoy their famous lobster dish. We ordered our food and it took a bit of time to come out. The chicken fried rice was salty enough to make me like it. The tofu portions were big squares rather than small cubes. Overall, this place was very good and I wish to give it 5 stars, but since the service wasn't as fast as Phở Gà Nhà in San Jose, the place can't get 5 stars. : )
we had a great meal and experience! wonderful portions of soup, rice, chicken chow mein, garlic shrimp and dessert of juicy oranges and fortune cookies. Jason took great care of us and we admired the largest maine lobsters this mainer has ever seen! parking is available in this shopping area.
Always a delicious meal! We purposefully add this into our itinerary every time we are in so cal. Dishes are always so flavorful. We always always get the lobster noodles. A delicious combo with fresh lobster and egg noodles - a must try here! The lobster is so fresh, the texture in every bite relieves a satisfying "crunch" and bounces back. The Mongolian beef is also always a hit. We enjoyed all of our dishes here, and most definitely one of my top places for lobster noodles! Get there early to avoid lines, and reserve a table ahead if you can. They have plenty of seating, but always fill up.
What a treat! We came here for a friend's birthday party last night and had a feast! Couple of things to mention before gushing about their food: 1. Come with a group of friends. The larger the party, the better! Why? You can try more dishes, which are mostly best with large groups. 2. Make reservations. They are a busy (and popular) place. 3. Come HUNGRY :) Now, to the food. Wow! Everything was so good. From their lobsters, to crabs, to tofu, to vegetables and noodles. I thoroughly enjoyed each dish. All their lobster & crab dishes are a must try. Also, their Seabass is delicious! As mentioned, come with a group. It will make the experience a lot more pleasant. Cant wait to come back!
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 The food here is delicious and best shared family style. I want to say this is a Vietnamese/Chinese fusion but I may be wrong. The pork dish I had was so crispy and flavorful. The salted fish fried rice was very unique and had bits of salty fish sprinkled in the rice. The lobsters were enormous and very flavorful. Our table ordered a bunch of dishes for a graduation party and honestly all of the dishes were good. I will say the food is pretty heavy and heavy on the MSG but hey, I guess that's what makes it good. Service is okay, when it gets busy the servers are hardly around but I get it because there are huge parties and tons of people here. It's a big restaurant. Ambiance reminds me of classic Asian family restaurants where everyone gathers around a big white table and there's a million of these tables. It has that typical Asian decor and plates. If you know you know. I would come here with big parties because the dishes are huge and you'd wanna try multiple. Overall, great place to eat with big parties. Any dish is decent enough and will satisfy you.
